That is a good question. I would have to say comedy. But not dumb comedy. Comedy with a good plot and some adventure as well as mystery. I like mystery. And every good story has a little romance in it. But I wouldn't mind if the bad guy won once in a while. Will it really kill an author to have the bad guy triumph in the end? And not have the good guy not really be dead and win in the second book. That doesn't count. I think I am tempted to write a book where the good guy dies. You'll see.

Your books sound like an awesome read! I'm totally going to check out that series next time I go to Barnes and Noble.
ReplyDeleteThose Kingdom Keeper books you commented about sound interesting because it reminds me a bit of the Kingdom hearts video game series. I don't know if you've ever heard of them, but I'm sure you'd love them it is also a Disney related franchise, combining the Final Fantasy series of games and several Disney films as the worlds in the game. You play as an original character, named Sora and you get to play through a bunch of Disney movies, and fight these evil guys called heartless and stuff, its pretty rad.
